The candidates’ responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to;

·      Create precise and detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of Mechanical Parts and Wire Harness designs using AutoCAD 3D and Autodesk Inventor.

·      Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.

·      Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

·      Review and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes and improvements.

·      Creation and maintenance of documentation, including design files, revision history, and design change records.

·      Work closely with other departments to communicate design specifications and resolve potential issues.

·      Provide technical support to other departments, addressing inquiries related to drawings, specifications, and design intent.

Candidates’ Essential Criteria;

·  Qualified Degree, Diploma, or Certificate course preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

·  Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D,2D and Autodesk Inventor is essential.

·  At least 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

·  Capable of fluently speaking and writing in English.

Non-essential added advantages;

·  Experience with other design software such as Solid Works, Solid Edge, Fusion 360 will be an added advantage.

·  Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to cable adapters and harnessing is a plus.

The candidate must be dedicated to meeting strict deadlines that may occasionally call for extended working hours.

Necessary initial guidance will be given, after which the candidate should have the ability to attend to projects independently and responsibly.
